|

The Evo IX is an awsome piece of KIT, the beauty about it is that you can make a Stealthy 340BHP with minimal mods!
Here's How:
Decat the Downpipe: R500
Megan Racing Test pipe: R800 (replaces Centre CAT or you can just Drill Through the original CAT and bolt it back in)
Free-Flow 63mm Back Box: R500 (Wildcat Head Office) [But if you want to rather keep the Stock backbox, some guys in the states modify them to bypass the chambers which stops them sapping power]
BMC Drop-in Filter: R550 (Or even better Apexi Cone Filter Intake with MAF adaptor is $120)
ECUFlash Remap: R950 (Open Source Mail Flash / Free if you do it yourself)
Water-Methanol Injection kit: R2500 (for Snow Kit or similar)
And WALA not much is gona give you trouble on the roads for a grand total of about: R5800
340BHP / 254KW
ps. Bear in mind that WRX's need almost R40-50k of work to make this kind of power:
(Typically they need TD05-20G, bigger injectors, Fuel Rails, Fuel Pump, Water Inj, Downpipe, Exhaust, Custom Remap etc. etc. etc.)

Im sure you mean at the Flywheel and NOT the wheels...LOL
MY 300KW ATW Evo 9 certenly cost more than 10 times that figure on engine / electronics mods alone! Built and tuned by me for low 11's which is a breeze thanks to a good Excedy twin! _________________ KYOTO RACING, We provide: 4WD Dyno facilities, approved EcuTek Dealer & Tuner Adelin +27 (0) 82 419 4204

Generic Kit....
You can get it from MO @ Turbo&NOS Connection
Alternatively Gert Supplies a Aquamist kit for R2750
or you can also get a Cooling Mist Kit for about R2500 (I have this one)
But WI kits sell like hot cakes so it more around who can supply...

Ok 340HP at flywheel is approx 180KW atw on the Koyoto Dyno Machine vs. approx 190atw @ Perfect Power and 200atw Snail Conversions... (Just my estimates we will have to compare figures to make sure)
