Things moving very very slowly.Docstech and Importparts have parted ways and Sergio has spent the past few weeks revamping the shop.Car was to be stripped in December in order to start building in January but he ran out of time.
Nothing I can do but wait patiently and use that GT35 as an ornament for now.  |

Car has been dropped off and work has begun.He installed my new brakes first and removed the motor yesterday.
Nervous but excited. |

Cool thats good news... Always good to see ano monster Evo on the streets.
Not sure if you heard Tyrone and I ran our cars at the RGM Torco Dynoday...
I made 350kw atw on 1.7bar (running out of injector) Fuel Rail, FPR and intake mani needs to go on next.
Tyrone made 423kw atw (Highest output Stock ECU 2L 4CYL in SA)
Only cars that made more power that us on the day were the two Lumina's done by Isac Schoeman... 6L V8 Twin Turbo.

Wow.Got goosebumps reading that man.Amazing power.Would love to make 400kw at the hubs on mine.
What turbo is Tyrone running and at what rev limit?How driveable is an Evo at that power level?
As you said before power is a drug you never get enough of. |

thats the beauty of an Evo - even at 400KW atw its still very drivable - just accelerates a whole lot faster.
Tyrone is running the same Turbo as me PT6262 just slightly bigger than a 35R, rev's to 9000rpm...
We just added the Intake mani and bigger FMIC, he still runs the stock MAF like me and factory knock sensors and knock control still works.
I'm sure you will make 400kw at hubs no problem - Evo's love boost and love to make power!
