Hi Guys,

The carbon fibre on the boot Spoiler of my Evo 8 is faded quite badly due to Sun damage. Needless to say it does not look nice.

Does anybody know who I can speak to that can help me...? Maybe a vinyl specialist that can put a carbon fibre sheet on the spoiler?

any help or advice would be appreciated,

thanks...

Ever get it sorted out?

Nevertheless, there's a lot of info on how to "fix" this yourself. Lot of time, lot of sanding, and recoating with clear, and it will be back to new. I had the same issue, started to sand it down - then got lazy and bought an Evo9 wing for $250.

Thanks this is good info. I never had time to sort it out. When I get back from the States I'll make a plan to do it.

How do you apply the clear coat? and where can i get some?

thanks
