Some of my logs after tuning the Evo 8 myself.

This is a copy/edited post of what I put on the SOCSA forums.

Let us see some of your logs/tunes. Smile

"For those who are interested, attached is a log I did on the Evo8 this morning using EvoScan Ver2.5.

I used the built-in map tracing feature, which basically overlays the logged data in the fuel/ignition map so you can easily see which load cells you are hitting.

There is a bug in the program or my laptop is to slow, to capture the data quick enough, which explains the "open cell" at 3500rpm load site 288.

This log was done with peak boost at 1,9 bar tapering off to 1,35 at redline.
I need to get the O2 housing installed which will hopefully help with the boost taper at redline.

Zero knock counts Smile
I verified this by tapping my AUX port on the stock radio, into the factory knock sensor. Cranked the volume all the way up and you can easily hear the knock through the car radio.
It is very accurate, at knock counts of two (this happened at peak torque, when I pushed the timing by 2 degrees) I can just hear it on the radio. So the knock sensor is pretty sensitive .

Enjoy."

Gotta love the awesome spool up on an Evo. Smile
