im doing some reasearch on mods and things and am finding some guys who for +- R 16000 can give an IX over 450 BHP ATW .

Vishu are very good and well regarded...
No disrespect to them but I'd like to see the 450HP on a dyno up here when your car is done, even at the flywheel thats a bargain for R16000.
Obviously I am very skeptical. Maybe its $16,000 with like a 50Trim Turbo kit and engine rebuild with cams etc for 450HP atw?

Just done some calcs:
450HP atw is 332KW atw or 389KW at the Flywheel (520HP)
R16k for that is a steal...

yip not in a million years dude!!
with a stage one with good fuel you looking at about -+ 200kw at Perfect Power dyno.
I reckon the figures in the states are very optimistic and there has been some rumors that the dynojet dyno actually read higher than the Dyna Pack which is a hub dyno!
With a stage one you should be able to pull 240kw on a dyna pack with good fuel?
which is about 326hp... |

well look i cant reckon those figures are correct for sure but im gonna do some more reasearch cause we do at the end of the day in SA get riped off.
that pakage that i was talking about is higher than a stage one as it consist of

Thats pretty much what I have on my EVO and it makes 214KW atw on Snail which is about 360HP on the Flywheel up here at Altitude.
Johnny is right the US figures are very optimistic plus they at Sea Level and in most cases on better than our 102 race fuel but their power figures atw actually corelate more to our figures on the Flywheel (engine)
look dude if you got money to spend there's a few good tuners up here that can sort you out:
NXGEN - have produced many fast EVO's (they are HKS Agents)
Gert Voster - he is on this forum and is in the process of building a 800HP Evo. (he is also the local ATP agent)
Koyoto Racing - you can speak to Pops he has a very fast Evo 9 pretty sure he can help you out.
Mike - is the local Works agent...
